CVAP Day 4 - The End?

Day four was the last day of our CVAP journey, and to be honest, I wish there's more days to this. I'm learning so much, and I'm enjoying with everyone especially my BR buddies. I feel like I'll be sad  when we graduate soon. However, I believe that I will cross paths with my fellow voicemates someday,  as long as we pour our dedication to voice artistry. Our final day program started with the VoiceMaster himself gracing his presence one more, giving us  lessons about loving our voice and the support community we have built. After that, he showed us a  video, a tour of the CreatiVoices Productions studio in Makati, and gave us lessons on how to create  our own home studio. In our afternoon session, they introduced to us a very special guest. He was known as one of the  mentors of the VoiceMaster himself, the Father of  Modern Filipino Dubbing - Mr. Danny Mandia. He shared us his experiences and gave us tips on voice dubbing. We were really lucky to rec...

CVAP Day 3 - PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

It's day three of our CVAP journey...and our assignments...keep piling up...ha...haha...hahaha... It's still pretty fun though. As a Mass Communication graduate, these lessons and assignments felt like I'm back being a college student. Anyways, our third day was focused on constant practice, and the program started off with another set  of CVAP alumni speakers. The first one was from The Golden Voice - Ms. Janeane Santos. She talked  about her experiences, practices, successes, and rejections of winning clients  as a freelance voice  artist. She reminds us to keep moving forward, keep practicing, and use our negative experiences along  the way to fuel ourselves in order become better voice artists. In the afternoon, we had the Pappy Voice - Harlem Ferolino , A.K.A Papa Lem, talk about his  journey as a voice artist. He taught us that we should love what we do, be active and available  in volunteering as a voice artist, and be socially active by i...

CVAP Day 2: Voice Lessons Time

Image
Despite the struggle with juggling between night shift work and finishing multiple assignments from our Day One Zoom meeting, I was able to finish everything before the start of our Day Two of the  CVAP Program.  Whew! I survived...for now. At the start of our program, we had two CVAP alumni as guests who talked about how CVAP changed  their lives. First, they introduced us to Mr. Magic - Mac Florendo. Now, you might be wondering why he's Mr. Magic. That's because he's a magician, and playing cards  are his specialty. Nag-sample pa yan sa amin ng mala-David Blaine or Criss Angel na card trick, and we're all like WHAT THE FUDGE?! HOW DID HE DO THAT?  Anyways, he talked about how joining the program boosted his confidence, and how the power of a  voice can influence relationships. He also taught us that we should gain wealth - the wealth of having  friends, and creating connections. The next speaker was no other than one of our hosts of the progra...
CVAP Day 1: A new journey begins! "First day of school! First day of school!" Wow!
